Am I required to attend Orientation as an incoming BCOE student?
Yes. All incoming first-year students are required to register for both an in-person orientation session and a virtual registration date.
Confirm your Math Placement
I feel like I did great on my AP Calculus Exam, but I don't have my score yet. Should I take the Mathematics Advisory Exam (MAE)?
Yes. BCOE will honor the highest placement results. If you receive your test scores after your registration date and those scores impact your Fall 2022 schedule, we can help you adjust your schedule.

Yes. If there is no ENGL 001B seat available , you can enroll in a breadth course in place of ENGL 001B.
Should I take the Analytical Writing Placement Exam (AWPE)?
Yes. BCOE strongly encourages all incoming first-year students to take the AWPE regardless of your expected AP results.
